Beitrag von EricsBadge »

The Allman Brothers Band will share cuts from their Sept. 28, 1971 performance at the Municipal Auditorium in Austin, Texas.
The new live release, "Down In Texas ’71", will be released digitally on March 26, the anniversary of the band’s formation.

The nine-track collection features fan-favorite cuts such as “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” “Hot ‘Lanta,” “Statesboro Blues” and many more (see below for a full tracklist). Six of the nine tracks feature saxophonist Rudolph “Juicy” Carter as a guest. Also, the physical CD version will feature a bonus recording of a radio interview with Berry Oakley and Duane Allman, which was taped just a few months before the performance.
